i also thought we were weaker than other sides but when you take into account that the likes of cas and widnes have had to replace most of their squad especially cas and we have a team that is used to playing with each other i think we will be more than competative this season

Your  right.  Having  a  settled  team  is  definatly  an  advantage.  Only  problem  is  its  become  an  ageing  side.  Whilst  we  have  alot  of  good  young'uns,  many  of  our  key  players  are  the  wrong  side  of  30 :(

Disagree Aaron is a great player but Gary Broadbent is for me the most inspirational Haven player.

agree haven baz  ;D aaron has been a fantastic servent and a great leader but gb should be the captain this season and i would put aaron in charge of the u21s

agreed GB is a very inspirational player but i think it showed aaron impact when he came back from injury last season when he came back we seamed to have more belief and direction in our game

You nearly got them right but their proper ages are (according to Gillette RL Handbook) - GB - 30 gone October; JD - 26 gone July; ST 33 (34 in April); AS - 24 gone Sept; GM 21 (22 in April); CS - 26 (27 in April); DF - 32 gone June); SM 26 (27 in Feb) and CR - 24 gone October.

it says they brought him in to make competition for places so why would they let him go
