Full congratulations must go to the BOD for getting this game sorted at such short notice for Paul & the Lads.

This game is a MUST for our pre-season preparations.

Totally  agree.  Great  work  from  the  BOD  at  getting  a  game  at  such  short  notice.  Should  get  a  chance  to  see  Edmundson  and  Finch  with  a  bit  of  luck  alongside  others  who  didn't  make the  Town  game.

I've been informed that Finch and Edmonson should feature in the match and this is confirmed in the article on the official site :)

Friendlies  like  this  can  often  lead  to  goodwill  between  both  clubs.  Hopefully  next  season  a  friendly  away to  Swinton  rather  than  a  game  against  Barrow  should  suffice ;)

yes havenlad06  it should be a better game than the town game. as this one wont be in the holiday period and is part of each clubs pre season build up and swinton will have the players playing who will be taking the feild for the nl2 season unlike town had playing on 30th dec and swintons coach will have been hands on with his squad  for longer than ours had before that game.no excuses though so if you felt disappointed with the recent local derby you want to try being in our fans shoes friend. but hey chin up.
