After much deliberation with the police and local council the club now has extended opening times on match days.  The bar license now allows us to stay open later and allows drinks to be bought in the bar and consumed on the terracing IN PLASTIC CONTAINERS ONLY.  It has cost a tidy sum to get the change and some hard bargaining with the police to allow this.  Please enjoy it and look after it as we will be on trial.  The bar can now operate between 12p.m and 1 a.m.

Still think we need the Toilets sorted, especially if the bar is going to be open longer and more people will be using it.

Excellent  news.  When  you  see  RL  and  RU  matches  on  tele  and  they  pan  on  the  crowd  you  often  see  some  lucky  chappy  with  a  pint  in  his  hand.

Mind  you  the  only  drink  I  fancied  on  the  terraces  today was  a  hot  coffee........................bloody  freezing ;)

I have been talking to the headsteward and he is not happy with alcohol been allowed on the terrices as there has not been any trouble before apart from when there was a beer tent at the railway end when haven v cas and haven won the league in 2005 and after that no alcohol was allowed. He also said that if there is any trouble with alcohol relelated incidents it will stop from the next game and that has been approved.

They will have to have a beer in there hands as they could have had before going into the ground, if there just drunk they may have had in the bar or outside.
