Tomorrows academy game has been called off due to the pitch being unplayable.

I dont think any drainage system could cope with the amount of rain its put down recently.

You seen the state of some of the Premier League pitches, especially Wigan's, wait until the Rugby Season starts it will be like a quagmire.

thing is haven warrior, wigan play what every 2 weeks on there pitch? possible twice in a week? how many games wil be played on copeland until the academy season starts around march april time? maybe 1 or 2? maybe even none.

they also have full timer grounds men at the jjb and the turf is the best they can get. supid arguement to compare the rec or copeland to the jjb

The pitch at the Stadium is used by a lot of local teams, it is used for Football and Rugby, plus Haven train up there. The pitch is one of the Main Incomes the stadium has,so they are not going to let it get damage beyond repair!!

wich local teams use copeland as in rugby? kells dont, hensingham dont, brow dont, copeland wildcats use the brows pitchs, copeland warriors or whatever they are called only play in the summer, the amatuer finals are only in the summer. a few footie games might be played on there, but would 1 game for 80 mins have affected it beyond repiar for football i very much doubt it
