agree with that team but start with maca instead of hill, we need to get off to a good start and howards big plus is when he comes off the bench fresh against a 25min old defence he often makes lots of clean breaks

1          Broadbent
2          Calvert
3          Makisi
4          Eilbeck
5          Adebisi
6          Finch
7          Duffy
8          McDonald
9          Mattinson
10        Fatialofa
11        S McAvoy
12        Fletcher
13        Rudd

14        Sice
15        Hill
16        Edmondson
17        M Jackson

Need some big forwards on the bench for this game, so would drop Joe even though he has done nothing wrong - aka Hill at Workington

Would drop Miller, not been playing well at all since his return from Honeymoon last year.

Kept Makisi in the team by default, poor debut - not match fit/rusty - however with Rob Jackson injured no suitable replacement unless McAvoy is shifted into the Centres, but he had a really good game at Workington once shifted from Loose Forward. Second Row is defo his best position - leave him there!

Sice is missing some of his magic so far, but can still provide that little bit of magic, great to see him & Finch on the pitch at the same time. However Carl must step up a couple of gears or Chris Smith will be knocking on the door of the First Team.

Would release Teare from the squad altogether, not First Team quality and if one of the 4 starting props in the 17 - Fatialofa, McDonald, Edmondson or M.Jackson get injured/lose form, Hill is capable of moving inside from Second Row and/or Ford deserves an opportunity to stake his long-term credentials.

Fail to see how you can say that Makisi's debut was poor, put into the context of a 20 odd hour plane journey less than a week before and never having played with any of his team mates, I think it was a reasonable effort.
