I'll be their next week but can't help feeling its a bit of a meaningless exersise.  Having played them twice in the last 7 weeks already its getting a bit boring.  We know we are going to beat them. If we put 40 points on them so what, they are an average NL2 team and means nothing.  If we play crap and win we jsut feel worse.

The only game that matters now is fax at home.  That will be tha acid test for my money.   :-\

As  much  as  I  hate  to   agree  with  you  Boxer  your  right  on  this one.

The  2 games  aginst  Fax  were  always  going  to  be  the  big  test. After  todays  debacle  it  makes  the  home game  against them  even  more  vital.

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter if we finish first or second in the group as there's no seedings for the draw. What we need to do is qualify and find some sort of form. We need to be on fire for Fev away on Good Friday.

so what are you saying exactly boxer?

put out a team of young kids to make the game more even?

or just not bother to put a team out at all?

the MOST IMPORTANT match right now is Workington Town at home on sunday, a game which we are fully expected to win, but a game which may not be that easy.

the lads need to get a win under their belts before having to go to keighley and win again before playing halifax at home to finish this NRC group phase off!

Just cause you don't understand what's going on don't mean it don't make no sense
And just cause you don't like it, don't mean it ain't no good

Fax caught us on a bad day - we didn't see the real Marrahs at the weekend.

Ee ai ee ai ee ai oh
Up the National League 1 we go
When you see the Marrah's
This is what we'll sing
We are Haven, super haven
Calvert is our king
