Thinking of staying for the night when Celts visit you on 11th April.

Would like to ask a few quesions.

What is the nightlife like near Whitehaven?

Can you please give me a list of good value hotels / Travelodges around the area. Looking for a cheapish price as we are all 18 so havunt got alot of cash.

friday night after a game the town will be buzzing, theres a travel in about 3 miles out of town, but to be close to the ground and the town center try the chase hotel

Would it be quite easy to catch a taxi in town to the travel inn?

I also have my 17 year old bro with me, How is town for getting in?

Nightlife is not too bad - lots of pubs in Town, Wetherspoons, Gallachers, Blue, Candlestick etc all within 200 yards of each other - Gallachers is open quite late (1am ish) and a taxi from Travel Inn would be fairly easy and cost roughly ?7-10 maybe even cheaper)

towns pretty good for getting in sennys and gallaghers are the main spots along with witherspoons

Last time I was out in Whitehaven I got so smashed on Snecklifter in the Waterfront that I offered Pip Davidson out for a fight!  :o :o :o :o
