Apparently it was in yesterday's Leigh reporter that they are trying to get Duffy and possibly Maden back to Leigh???

Nowt to stop them trying but both Duffy and Madden love it up here and have said this is the best club they have been at.  Nothing is too much trouble to the bod, they dont have to chase wages they are there on time evrytime and the fans are superb.  Their words.

The article states, "The Club (leigh) is being linked with a bid to try to persuiade former half-back John Duffy to return to the club from Whitehaven, the club he played for with some considerable success last season".    Surely if they haven't been in touch with Haven then they would be in breach of RFL rules about tapping players up, champ?    We all know contracts are not worth the paper they are written on in RL.   It is only Leigh fans speculation about Maden though.

Doesnt say who the information comes from Keith. Rumours rumours and more rumours.  Facts are they are both signed to Haven for another season at least.

Leigh Centurions' overseas recruitment continued with the signing of Sydney Bulls captain Nathan DeBartolo.

And with 22-year-old Fijian Mailangi Styles joining the club late last week from NRL club, Manly Sea Eagles, the recruitment is stepping up apace.
Plus the club is being linked with a bid to try and persuade former half back John Duffy to return to the club from Whitehaven

Taken from the Leigh reporter this week.  Not sure what we would do if this happend.  He isn't a world beater but their aint many scrum halves with his experience available.  Especially withthe quote spot gone.
