Unfortunately it often appears that what people are told and the truth are two completely different things.

Sorry, but that is an absolute disgrace.

Whoever is responsible for this should pay compensation to whoever deserves it.

Is it not the responsibility of the home team to confirm with the ref 24 hrs before a game? It is in  the national conference, i don't know about  local games.

I attended todays shambles. Once again the club has managed to present itself in a negative light to its paying public. I travelled from Carlisle, to give my support to the lads, as I was unable to attend the Lezignan game due to work commitments. After today, I really wonder what was the point.
What particularly upset myself was various officials trying to reassure those in the ground that the game was still going to be on, after I had already personally seen at least one of the players leave the ground.
I seriously hope that the responsibility for organising match officials lies with the RFL, but speaking to several people in the ground, they were of the opinion that the club were responsible for confirming match appointments prior to kick-off. To ask over the tannoy for those in the crowd who were registered officials to serve as touchjudges, smacked of desperation at best and sheer amateurism at worst.
Disgruntled.
