Need to ask why 'Fax are releasing Gorski ?

I guess initially it would seem a good move if they were getting Fletch in exchange. But now they are not, but are still willing to let him go ? Is that a bit odd ?

Now if he wants away, and both clubs recognise his potential, Halifax get some cash and 'haven a ready made replacement thyen that's fine.

Just seems odd that 'Fax while not firing on all cylinders at the moment would be willing to let one of their better players transfer to a rival outfit !

Another thaught ..... any spare cash available with Fletch going should be used to strengthen the halfback line first i would have felt.
The pack is not our most vulnerable area in terms of injuries is it ?

Having said alll of that, if Gorski joins us then the decisions been made by people closer to the RL issues of the team and we must support the player and decision makers.

Reading the RLFans fax forum they reckon he was going to be swapped for Fletch, as he has gone to Widnes is this move now a dead duck ?

It may be relevant that Gorski can't get into the Fax firts 17 when every ones fit

Larder, Ball, Varkulis, Wrench, Smith and Heaton are a heac of him.  Reality is Gorski aint that good  apart from struggling to get in the fax team he has mainly languished in some very poor Rochdale teams, similar to Baldwin really.  Certainly no where near Fletchers standard and most probably behind Miller Mcavoy and Hill.

Useful traveling companion for jackson though as he lives in Leigh.  Maybe we are employing him as a driver for Rob.

Sarcasm becomes you Boxer. How much bile do you carry at any one time ?  Obviously too much to cope with when you post on this site.

It ain't even official - if its going to be, Boxer - for gods sakes - give the lad a chance - if and only IF he signs - give him a god damned chance before you slate the guy.

This is becoming VERY monotonous!!

He carries so much bile that every now and again he has to go away to have it removed. Its just a coincidence that those trips fall just after a Haven victory for about a week, that's why he can't come on to congratulate the team on a good result!

I wouldn't say that.  Just disappointed we have lost Fletcher and warning you that after our "Baldwin experience" this bloke has the same pedigree.

To be frank i am ****ed the mess the previosu directors have got the club in, and concerned at how the team is being dismantled at a rate of knots.  Do not forget that as well as Duffy and Fletcher going plus the five experienced players from last year.  Come the end of this season we will be most likley batting without Fats , Joe Hill and Broadbent.

That will just about be an entire starting 13 gone in 12 months.  I think Ged Stokes deserves a chance and was the best option for coach but i am worried that by then of this season we will be in a irrecoverable mess with players gone/ leaving and crowds well down already it will be an impossible situation to get out of.

The financial mismangement of the club was a disgrace we were averaging 2000 getting to finals  having cup runs and it was all screwed up.

boxer, gorski has started 7 games for fax this year thats nearly half of there games so he isnt exactly struggling to make the team. he played for salford before moving to rochdale and being made captain, he always gave haven problems when he has played against them

he hasnt signed yet so your knocking the bloke before he has even signed played or settled (sounds like the same way you said makisi was crap even though he is are best centre now)

do you love duffy and fletch or something? you used to go on about rotherham well i wish you would follow one of them either rotherham to workington or duffy and fletcher to widnes they have gone GET OVER IT we have played without fletcher for 2 games and played better without him!

yep and Baldwin had played 70 SL games for Salford and Leigh.  I realsie Gorski has not signed but if you read the papers they will take him if he agree to move.  Just disappointing we are shifting our best players out and trying to replacing them with fodder.

If we can't afford them Boxer, then what do we do? We can't print our own money. Let's give Gorski a chance. Many people wrote of Ryan McDonald before the season started yet he has been one of our best players so far this season. Like it or not, we are in financial difficulties and need to make the most of what we have got. It shows that we at least have some ambition to try and bring in a replacement.

Maybe you would like to go on the BOD Boxer and sort it all out as you seem to know where we are going wrong?
