Real  season  starts  in  April.  The  NRC  group  stages  should  be  a  formality  and  will  give  DR  to  the  chance  to  look  at  different  players.  Anyone  think  we  can  improve  on  last  season ???

Definitely think we can better last season. I mean look how depleted our squad was and we still managed to get to the final eliminator. 1st or 2nd for me. I also think apart from Widnes and Cas that other significant teams aren't what they were last season.
You are really a superfan amongst super fans in fact your the no.1 fan in Cumbria. Congratulations.

I think we'll finish third, second at a push if Widnes can't add more to their pack.

i think a 3rd place finish for us northern rail cup semi final and possibley 4 or 5th round of the challenge cup

Last  season  we  were  ravaged  by  injuries.  If  we  can  get  the  likes  of  Baines  back  to  full  fitness  then  he'll  be  a  huge  assett.  Big  things  are  expected  of  mcCavoy  as  well  and  if  we  can  keep  all  these  lads  fit  then  a  top  4  finish  is  very  acheivable.

I still  think  though  Widnes/Cas  will  be  hard  to  beat  and  unless  we  can  get  a  big  2nd  row  or  even  a  pacey  n.6  3rd  might  be  the  best  we  can  hope  for.

IMO  they  should  scrap  the  NRC  fullstop.  Only  time  it  gets  interesting  is  when  the  playoffs  start  although  if  we  hard  a  harder  group  it  might  make  it  more  exciting.  Having  the  NRC  final  live  on  SKY  is  another  plus !!

At  the  end  of  the  day  we  all  want  SL  and  that  comes  from  playing  league  games  and  gaining  a  decent  position  when  the  playoffs  come  round.  Doing  what  they  do  in  SL  would  be  far  better  and  play  27/28  league  games.
