As an "exile" living in Greater (sic) Manchester can someone give me a clue as to the chances of Fridays game being on, long way to drive for a call off. Thanks in anticipation

Friday's forecast for Whitehaven is predominantly heavy rain with high winds.   (BBC weather centre 5 day forecast)

Match will be on pal.  Marked the pitch today it is very soft in Seedys corner and the rest of it is ok.  Unless there is a deluge lasting for a few hours it should be ok.  If you want i will see what it is like in the morning and post on here to let you know.

VERY windy here in West Cumbria this morning - could have an effect on the attendance tonight - a few spits and spots of rain chucked in for good measure - fingers crossed the winds subside before tonight - otherwise its gonna be a case of 20 layers of clothing
