After talking to my buddy Big Mac in Morrisons this morning he asked me to post HIS birthday No1.
Well, Mac was born on 15/Sep /1970 which was two days after my 21st birthday and three days before the death of Jimmi Hendrix.
The No1 single that week was "Tears of a Clown" by Smokey Robinson and the Miracles and later covered by the Beat in 1979.
You never really looked like a child of the sixties, Mac, so I hope this clears it up for you. We'll have a couple of wets on 12/Sep/2010 mind or for you a couple of Sanatogen Wines because the advert used to say it --"fortifies the over 40's".
