It says in Irving's pile of rubbish this week that the club are on the verge of a massive signing for next season. A few names have been banded about in various other threads but with nothing concrete as yet i wonder who the 'massive' signing is. By the way i wouldnt count on the mystery player being a front rower, Irving's grasp of Journalism doesn't stretch to playing with words.
Just some food for thought though, after the Salford game Phil LeuLeuai (if thats how you spell it) made an effort to applaud the Haven fans after the final hooter.
As for Webster there is very little chance of him venturing this far north. He would almost certainly want a fortune and we've just signed Russell to complement the players capable of playing at 1/2 back already at the club.
Lastly on reading the column he first name which sprang to mind was Robbie Paul. He and Stokes know each other. Not sure of his contract status @ Salford mind. He also has media comitments which may not be compatible with a move to our neck of the woods.
