I think we may have had our big signing of the year with Russell.

I've been told a name, but from what i hear it still isn't in the bag -- would be a good "useful" signing if it comes off, be the best player in his position in the division arguably, but I can't see it happening and to be honest even if it does I think "massive" signing might be over egging it somewhat.

tanne lavulavu. alias (ten minute man)

Listen, if Tanni Lavulavu got himself fit again and played like Town fans know he can, for more than 10 minutes at a time, then he could do some serious damage to some teams in NL1.     If he got fit and he could be counted on to do his whack then I wouldn't mind Town re-signing him.

I know he got an injury last season but there was more to it than just that in my opinion.    Lavulavu, when he first came to Town, was a player who wanted to play 60 out of the 80 minutes.   I don't know what went wrong but at the end he wasn't a shadow of the player who started at Town.
as jim royal would say tani lavulavu my ares :D
our players couldnt get in the town team you,ve gotta be kidding.theres plenty town players i hope dont wear the chocbluegold.

We wont sign Willie Talau.

Every aging kiwi prop known to man is being linked with the club! Lets have a look at the list of suggestions so far..........

Tani Lavulavu
Joe Vagana
Phil Leuluai
Willie Talau
Danny Lima

I cant see us realistically signing any of the above bar TL. Im not sure id want Lima hes past it.

Hopefully these rumours started by Dickhead in his column will be ended soon when the (if) show their hand.

Russell and Holroyd 1/2 back would be too similar in my opinion.

We dont need anymore half backs with Tani, McNally, Rudd, Russell already onboard would Holroyd be worth signing?

Ged Stokes isnt stupid.

We dont need Holroyd. The money he'd be on could be put to 100% better use strengthening in other positions. I know Rudd can play at 13 but we dont have a specialist in that position at the club.
