As things currently stand based on who has signed for whom we are looking at 6,7, or 8th spot.  Probably ahead of Doncaster, Sheffield and Barrow and Batley in that order

Boxer,

LOL your as posative as last year

Looks like there might just be 10 teams in NL1 next year, Donny probably won't make the start of next season.

So much for a joint football-rugby council stadium. Income is so far down due to having no parking fees or bar/food receipts

I agree with him. NL1 next year will be stronger than ever.

Has anyone recognised that sheffield has basically signed PNG national side?  Think that they will be in for a good run this year depending on the team gelling in time!
The only stupid question is the one never asked!

They've signed two players from PNG, one Tongan and a Fijian.

Hardly a PNG national side, although very good players.

If i am honest based on the squads assembled everyone has strengthened pretty much where as we look a lot weaker.

Something like this

Halifax
Widnes
Barrow
Leigh
Featherstone
Sheffield
Haven
Batley
Gateshead
Doncaster

Not sure about your placement of Leigh, I think they will struggle this year. Widnes will walk the league, no doubt in my mind about that.

I'll go for:

Widnes
Halifax
Barrow
Haven
Sheffield
Leigh
Featherstone
Toulouse
Gateshead
Batley
Doncaster
