heard today that we have signed 3 under 16 lads onto the academy gregg mcnally adam ramsden and michael lithgow having played with gregg for a few years and against the other 2 i have to say gregg is a top player good passer and excellent kicking also good in defence lithgow is a strong running forward he doesnt miss mant tackles and adam ramsden is ok but IMO there are better players in his position in the U 6's league and also the 18's but good luck to all of them hope they do well

definatly tyrone is awsome best stand off/scrum half that i have seen round here there are some really good players at kells also hensingham have some very good players there is alot of talent around they just need a chance

there are also some players at U16 level that with the proper training could be very very good

can i just say how narrow minded some of you are on this forum >:( >:(.there is more than one team than kells if you look who are on scholarships GE

jonny machine - ex hensingham player now playing 1st team for wath brow
Stuart Wilson - ex hensingham player now playing union for st Benedict's 1st team
mark pearson - plays for hensingham
jack Murray -  ex hensingham he was playing 1st team rugby until rangers were pulled up as they didn't no you had to be 17 to play  in the conference.
SAM Crosby ex hensingham plays for keswick RU and also on scholarships for Newcastle falcons
David Hanabury - ex hensingham now playing union for wigton
Charis smith - ex hensingham under 16 until he moved to kells under 18s
Steven fox plays for hensingham u18  and also signed for haven last summer.

there just the players on u18s scholarships that plays or played for hensingham  8) 8) 8)

yeah i am not saying kells havent produced some of the best players at whithaven but the comment made by my self that there is talent at over clubs eg
egremont ranger -john Paul brocklebank the best stand off in under 18 rugby round here,he is also gettin a regular start at 1st team in the conference at the age of 17.also for egremont jack Murray was playing 1st team until the rangers were pulled up about playing him as he wasn't 17 as i pointed out in my last comment

wathbrow - jonny machin - has been playing since his 16th birthday at the hightest another level he can i am just sayinthere ismore than just kells that are producing good quality players
