I guess that we will be shown quite alot as we are one of the bigger clubs in the 2 leagues

I think if I was on the BoD I would have reservations about this.  Having a game like the Whitehaven v Castleford fixture moved to a Thursday night, we would lose out on a lot of income from Castleford's away support - likely thousands of pounds.  Would we get enough compensation to make up the difference?  Would the added sponsorship cancel out the lost income?  If the TV deal went through, I doubt we'd have the power to overrule the movement of a game to a Thursday night.

Having said that, it would still be great to see Whitehaven (and the other NL teams) on the TV regularly, but it would be interesting to know how the board feel about this.

ultimately i think this would be good for everyone it may generate more interest in rugby league in general.
Also kk would not get away with as much if the matches were televised

I dont know if EuroSport would stretch to errecting a big screen for each televised clash, a 12" portable in the club bar maybe.

think the rec would look good with a big screen by the floodlight at the railway end where theres a big gap would look well nice

crowds would be smaller for all clubs if matches were played on thursdays and lets face it towns crowd cant afford to get any smaller :D
our players couldnt get in the town team you,ve gotta be kidding.theres plenty town players i hope dont wear the chocbluegold.
