see the rfl have let the NRC count for catic ban, even though at the time he had neither a visa or a wrk permit to allow him to play in this country and the man himself was still in Oz so could not have played anyway

no wonder our sport is a joke

Hence the reason they were allowed to sign Luisi when we were refused permission last season before the new ruling came in. They also have the help of their MP. Unlike Haven with their self professed Haven 'FAN' Jamie Reed MP.

Barrow appealed against the Luisi decision and put a very good case forward which was accepted.  As a player with many SL games under his belt he was deemed to be a player of sufficient quality to be allowed to sign for us.

Ned Catic was signed months ago.  The UKBA messed-up big time and lost paperwork which meant that the process had to be started all over again.  Barrow put this to the RFL who accepted that the ban shouldn't be elongated.
