I  was  talking  to  somone  who  watches  Hensingham  and  he  reckoned  Craig  was  destined  for  better  things  than  his  brother.

My  only  doubt  is  has  he  fully  recovered  rom  his  injury.  It  must  have  been  bad  if  he  was  told  not  to  play  again !!!

opps typo soz lads lol, I think he was askd a few seasons ago to play for haven and he turnd em down im sure thats what his dad said. the 2 mc,s would have been great playing for haven.

Sorry folks but we do not need a centre or stand off we need a second row or prop i think Craig mcavoy is nothing on rudd plus rudd will get his run at 6 this season and he will be awsome

considering scott mcavoy is a centre or second row and is already at the club i dont think he wil be playing 6 either
craig mcavoy on the other hand could take the 6 jersey

We need a Stand Off more than any other position in my opinion.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves the entire fan base has been waiting for a replacement for Leafa for the whole off season.   The Bod has been unable to deliver thus far.  Lets get what we desperatley need first .. a running backrower.   


A lightening quick stand off would be a dream but it aint going to happen.  I would settle for replacing what we have lost.

Incidentally   (1) I don't buy this wait and see recruit half way through the season.  You get your best team together at the outset.  i dont see Brisbane or St Helens leaving a squad spot open for half way through the season.  (2) The players are out there just needs will determination and good homework..  I said it on another post if Celtic Crusader can recruit Darren Mapp and Terry Martin  both in the mid twenties having played over 60 first grade games (including last season) then we can recruit a young running sercond row from NZ / Aus.  I know he needs a EU passport but lets be frank 1/3 of those blokes running round the NRL are eligable for EU passports.

Exactly with abit of homework there will be plenty of players that are quality second rows  around that we could get lets hope we do

THINK CRAIG WOULD BE A GOOD LONG TERM REPLACEMENT FOR SEEDSEY AND THE GOALKICKER WE DESPERATLEY NEED.
ANY MORE NEWS ON HIM SIGNING? I KNOW HE NEVER PLAYED FOR HENSINGHAM AT THE WEEKEND NOT SURE IF HE WENT TO KENDAL OR NOT WITH THE REST OF THE LADS.
