that would be the best imo for wigan the strongest team we can play

we need a gate of 6,000 plus and from the result at the weekend i cant see it would be nice

I'd go for:

1. Broadbent
2. Calvert
3. Seeds
4. R. Jackson
5. Lebbon
6. Rudd
7. Duffy
8. Trindall
9. Smith
10. M. Jackson

if we cant get a gate of over 4,000  will be very disopointed because if we cant get a big crowd to see some of the best players in the world then whats the point in trying for sl these are the games that fans from haven should be flocking to the recre and summets wrong if they dont

ok Sicey at 9 and Ricky Wright on the bench i'd say. DR seems to like Ricky for some reason.

With the current availability I would go for

1  Gary Broadbent
2  Craig Calvert
3  S McAvoy
4  D Seeds
5  R Jackson
6  C Rudd
7  J Duffy
8  S Trindall
9  G Mattinson
10 M Jackson
11 H Hill
12 S Miller
13 A Lester
14 L Joe
15 C Sice
16 A Shaw
17 S Teare / D Ford

Possibly leave Steve Trindall out and play Ford to be honest DR Knows what he's got with the Bull but would give David Ford a chance to prove his worth in the First team squad.
We will just have to wait and see though, I think the team will depend on what quality of squad the Pie Eaters decide to bring up

Been  on  the  Wigan  site  and  there's  talk  of  fetching  their  acadamy  side.  If  thats  the  case  then  it  will  seriously  effect  the  crowd.  It  seems  quite  alot  of  Wiganers  are  prepared  to  make  the  trip  but  only  if  Noble  puts  out  a  decent  team.  >:(  Wasn't  it  part of  the  sale  of  Wilkes  that  a  decent  team  had  to  be  put  out ???

Lets  hope  so.  Surely  Noble  will  want  to  give  his  players some  game  time  and  what  better  to do  it  than  against  a  lower  league  club.

However  if  they  do  fetch  a  weakened  team  then  the  BOD  should  take  some  form  of  action  against  Wigan.  We  got  walked  over  by  Widnes  when  they  took  SM :o  and  got  nowt  in  compensation.  Lets  hope  they  don't  appear  to  be  soft  touches.
