couldnt hold out......... read this bit


Haven do not run an under-18s side and Leeds are looking at taking some of the top Recre prospects to Headingley to play in their classy under-18 operation. Any considered to have top-flight potential may then link up with the Rhinos.................... ok so what about giving us some fringe players from the first team???

Let's face it, we will see sweet FA players coming to the Recre, Leeds are very much into blooding players in the academy and reserve grade rather than farm them out!

Also if your an up and coming player you wouldn't want to be away from the spotlight and be away from the coaches eye by being at Haven!

Finally I think most players at Headingley requiring some development would not care for Whitehaven when they are accustomed to having Leeds on their doorsteps!

been told by a very good source leeds will sending players on the fringes of there first team to haven

That may be good news, but the question is how long will they be here for?

If they are just popping up now and again for a few games and walking straight into the team that will have devastating consequences for team moral and stability. We should go for either of the following:

1. Players are sent for at least half a season at a time.

2. Players are not sent at all.

Travelling players, who only come to some training and walk straight in the team will be very bad and will only make things worse.

Is that when Town almost went out of business when they brought in hasbeens during ther stint in SL. Look at where their at now. Still suffering the effects.

At least if we sell this game and get 3000+ and keep all the gate receipts + merchandise sales then whatever the result they'll be only 1 winner
