The kick-off for the Town v Haven match on Sunday, 27th December 2009, is now  -  1.00PM.

Haven't a clue , why????

Haven94, didn't you mean, "no, the game in memory of a west cumbrian legend  is at derwent park this year  as one year the game is at the recreation ground and the next at derwent park".   

keith, I might be wrong but i would guess its due to daylight hours.    to save the floodlights having to be  switched on.

game will be played early to stop trouble, they done this a few year ago

sadly itchy now you mention it i think that may be the main reason. also maybe if the game doesnt fall victim to the frost initially temperatures will start to drop after 3pm and there could be a risk of injuries to players. all in all a 1pm KO makes sense.

ok so whos going then and does the ground put a bus on for those that carnt get to workington, just woundering.

There are trains running from Workington North to Workington otherwise it would be easier getting to the match from Whitehaven than from Seaton!!!!!!
