just a thought why has amateurs never given their promise of using their ground  for the venture.?
our players couldnt get in the town team you,ve gotta be kidding.theres plenty town players i hope dont wear the chocbluegold.

As far as i know pal but its all been pie in the sky for that long we wont know untill its approved, from what i can gather over the years the plans etc have been talked about going to be similar to leigh sports village

Dont think that is the total cost of the stadium though im led to believe that includes all the other parts too (commercial, residential, etc...)

Believe this "investment" is meant to help with all the other various funding bodies getting in on the act, It aint dependant on anything, this is the first amount raised towards the final total

I can't understand why there wanting an 8000 seater stadium when it would be no good for SL criteria unless they can come up with ways to expand the ground later on.

Anyhow we've heard all this before. OK things are started to progress which is something but until work actually starts I'm not getting my hopes up too much.
