What  was  the  crack  with  the  strips  today.

Apparently  there  was  a  colour  class  which  meant  the  game  put  back  15  minutes  whilst  other  jersey's  were  found :-[

Surely that is a job that the Match Officials should be checking WELL before kick off  -- or is this not the case anymore?  Was today just a one off?

Where there is a potential conflict of playing strips,  the RL issue a directive to both teams. This was issued during the week where Town were instructed to wear their away shirt and Haven were instructed to wear their home shirt. This was known by both teams and match officials long before 3pm today.
Did someone play up to this?????? you decide

Noticed  Town  were  still  doing  their  pre  warm  up   at  least  10 mins  after  Haven  players  left  the  field.

Make's  you  wonder  if  one  of  their star  players  turned  up  late  for  the  game !!!

The RFL issue a list of which kits each clun has to wear in each game. This is issued well before the start of the season

It is then the Clubs responsibility to turn up with the correct kit

Since a 10 min delay wouldn't allow time for Haven to go home and then return with their home kit you decide which team had the wrong kit on originally

BTW all kits & players are usually checked 30 mins before kick off

Haven turned up with their home kit as per instructions from the rugby league. The match commisioner would normally check this but as he never turned up either the ref had to sort it out
