It makes you wonder if Mort has gone back to Leigh. We badly needed a centre especially with Macca out for a while. Also a couple of props. Farrars injury along with Fordy out has left us very lightweight

Isnt Parrata a Fullback/Centre? Its just if he actually gets here or not and im sure will be looking at a prop or 2.

Heard that greggs gone back to huddersfield.  Gone at his own request as he isn't getting on with GED.   Is this the start of worse things to come?

as i stated on another post, and was calmly shot down for it, his paymasters were not happy with how gregg had been used by HIM, other reasons have also factored into huddersfield not allowing him to come back, and i totally understand why they have done so

Well a step in the right direction, hopefully.

On a positive note:
We have two new players who may turn out to be great players for the team. I wish them all the best and hope that they can do a job for Haven.

On a negative note:
Several weeks ago GS commented on how he didn't want duel registration players because if players were available to Haven they had to play. Since then GS has given the green light to 3 duel registration players. Does this mean that they ALL HAVE to play when at Haven. If this is the case what happens if these players are not as good as the players we already have at the club (for example I think that two from Skee, Govin and Rudd are better than McNally).

maybe Wigan are still paying their wages, hope so

Not a great loss on the form of the back end of last season and so far this season, though nobody apart from maybe matty has played that well this season

Was always part of the loan deal that he was on week to week standby at Huddersfield, but not aware that their injuries are so bad as to recall him  :o

Gettin some new players in is a good thing, but seeing as many on here will/do claim to be pie fans, can anyone tell us if these 2 lads are any good??

Reading on the Wigan website the centre scored 17 tries in 19 games for the wigan reserves last season so seems a good try scorer though the standard is much higher in the championship. They are both in the Wigan 1st team squad so must have something about them

Just a point, not being negative, (even when there's good news the doom mongers on here chip in with plenty of those).  If Gregg and Mort have gone back to their clubs, all this does is replace them / cover McAvoy's injury.... which is a very quick response by the club to another potential critical  player crisis situation... see a positive, not negative .... A POSITIVE.

So have some faith, it has been stated we are looking for a prop / props, so take that at face value for a change and lets wait and see.

Or even worse, either they want to go back to their parent club, or their parent club recalls them for playing out of position, etc...

You lot will find something bad to say about every single thing Haven do! We have signed two young players who must be talented as they are in the 1st team squad of one of the if not the most famous Rugby League teams in the world and the current Super League leaders. What can be bad about that?

Give credit where credit is due

ged changes like the wind. He comes out and says he hates the loaning players from super league clubs because they have to play then goes goes out and gets 3. We are building an army of coaches and players how many is it now

Maybe there are no other players to sign?!

Ged cant win, if he doesnt sign anybody people are complaining that the squad isnt good enough and when he does sign players they complain because a few weeks ago he said he didnt want dual registration players.

Can people not understand maybe that was his only option either because there were no other players or these were the only ones we can afford?
