Rumour on one of the other Haven Forums that the club are about to announce the signing of a Goal Kicking Forward from one of our NL1 Rivals?
Thoughts anyone!, my guess if correct would be Craig Huby (Cas) anyone heard anything?

I heard at work today the same thing, no names though but deffo a Cas player and good friend of Aaron Smiths so Huby fits the bill.

Rumoured to be anounced later this week that Richard Fletcher has signed.  Played for Hull and Cas in SL.  No club since Cas were relegated  (not sure why beacause he palyed quite a few games for Cas last year).

Big lad plays prop or S/R and kicks goals 17 app for cas last year.

Richard FLETCHER ? Castleford Tigers ? 3 caps
Born: 17/5/81. Richard started with Fish Trades and Ideal Isberg amateur clubs, and gained honours for Yorkshire Academy and Great Britain Academy. A strong-running back row forward, he turned professional with Hull FC, making 58 Super League appearances in four years. Having appeared for Great Britain Under-21s in 1999, 'Fletch' was voted Alliance Player of the Year 2000 and made it into the Scotland World Cup squad but did not play until 2001. Moved to Brisbane Easts in 2005 but soon returned to the UK to join Castleford, helping them bounce straight back to Super League.

Maybe  another  1  or  2  signings  still  to  be  announced  if  rumours are  right ;)

i can guarntee you now it is not craig huby  ;)

i heard richard fletchers name before the season started from a cas fan but took it with a pinch of salt bit injury prone but could turn out to be a good signing he hasnt had a club because he said he wanted a super league club and looks like he hasnt found one

he has now hope its true but most rumours on here are just rumours so if this is going to happen will it be soon

richard fletcher think i can remember him from when he played us pretty good player BIG

The signing is Richard Fletcher from Cas, seen him in whitehaven ( zest ) yesterday talking to Rotheram.
