Once again after a great display against Oldham the lad's don't get the credit where it's due. The Whitehaven News write up says very little or nothing at all. These lad's are playing fantastically well at the moment showing great discipline as well as great rugby and are sitting in a very comfortable position ,so how is it that they cannot get the write up that should follow every game. 'Forgotten heroes' springs to mind. Come on somebody, the reserves side we have are our future first team who have, and show, what it takes to be successful.  Following on from this post i hope to see once again a great win with a great write up in next weeks paper.

Keep it going lad's!

Totally agree, i actually enjoy watching the reserves more than the first team this year, very entertaining rugby which makes Saturday's a lot more pleasent than Sunday's.
The way the first team are playing were doomed to championship one why not blood these boys this year, ready for a tough championship one on current first team performances.

I usually use the main RFL site for fixtures and i think they've been in the first team programmes a couple of times this year.

Wed 7 Jul
Barrow Raiders Reserves V Whitehaven RLFC Reserves
ko: 19:30, Venue: Craven Park

This game was postponed early in season, when Barrow couldnt get a team, mind you they have failed to fulfil their last 2 fixtures, so this must be doubtful.

These postings are now off topic. The thread is supposed to be about the reserves getting recognition where it's due. Let's keep it that way!
