I think looking at the derby games over the last two seasons shows quite clearly that Mr McGuinness is nothing other than a thug on the field. The game of rugby league is, and should be played hard, however there is a difference between that and going onto the park to deliberately hurt your opponents. In the last match (Derwent Park) he was warned staright away when he come off the bench for head high tackling, it just appears to be his style. The tackle against Baynes happened directly in front of where we were sitting at the Rec and was totally uncalled for. He had already been tackled around his legs stopping any further forward momentum when McGuinness attacked his head. I hope when video evidence is assessed he is banned accordingly.
