Rotation of hookers

In todays News and Star Dave Rotherham states he is going to rotate his hookers Smith, Sice & Mattinson.

D.R.s attempt to play Sicey at full back hasn't worked. Now plan B.

He states Sice & Mattinson are runners, does that mean Smith will start all the matches? Leaving Sice & Mattinson to rotate game by game.

D.R. states football players are rotated. What he dosn't state is they play 2 matches every week. Rugby players play once a week they don't need rotating.

In my opinion he is going to have 2 or possibly 3 very unhappy hookers.

D.R. should pick the hookers who are in form instead of trying to fit 3 into 2 which everybody knows dosn't go.

in our opening games both leroy and lester had been stand out players...so dont write them off just yet

Dave Rotherham has a massive selection problem.

It appears his rotation of hookers only affects Sicey and Matty.

Why is Smith not being rotated?

Is it because He will sulk and pack in, like he did at Castleford or because he is on super league money?

He is no better than Sicey or Matty.

These two lads are going to get very frustrated very shortly.

Hearing thay yet again Sice has been rested by DR today, after Matty was rested at Barrow, surely it was Smiths turn to be rested. It would have been an ideal opputunity to get Rudd to 13, Bamber at 6 with Duffy at 7.

Surley Sice will be looking for first team footy elsewhere, if this goes on any longer!!

All  this  rotation  thing  is  complete  nonsense.  Its  not  like  football  were  they  play  60  games  a  season  and  twice  a  week.  If  we  did  you  can  understand  DR  swapping  players  about  but  when  you  only  play  30  games  a  season  surely  you  need  players  playing  week  in  week out.

Heard today he was unhappy at being left out yet again.

Sadly i think he is on his way out...Well done DR looks like our best player is going.

one player will not determine the grand final and arron smith and matty are more than capable

Its  unlikely  Sice  will  go  anywhere.  He  has  a  job  at  Sellafield  so  that  rules out  any  move  into  SL.  If  he  was  to  go  anywhere  it  would  have  to  be  within  the  County  but  that  would  mean  dropping  into  NL2.

All  I  can  say  is  maybe  he  was  dropped  due  to  a  bigger  game  next  week.  If  he  doesn't  feature  in that  one  then  there's  something  seriously  wrong.  I  don't  think  for 1  minute  there's  a  personality  clash  between  him  and  DR.
