my  understanding is that the game is protected as Haven are not the organisers. The winding up order is an unbelievable development. I was a bit Suss that all was not well due to lack of confirmation about admin from the bod. I do hope this is not a sign of things to come

To be honest then if this is true and we are wound up...the current BOD would not be involved in any future club that is born.

HMRC have of late got a lal fed up of proffessional / semi proffessional sporting clubs falling behind on tax and then going 'bump' to avoid paying. Same thing currently happening at Dundee FC and in all honesty if it was you or me late on paying any form of personal tax, we would be up before the courts in weeks.

Just another saga in the life of Whitehaven rfl.....lets be optimistic, we will survive one way or the other, in some form or other, we have too...

and now off to take some more happy pills !!!

true Flannerz but would be difficult to restart with semi pro rl licence. There are a couple of things about this whole shambolic last 4 weeks which make me suspicious; admin, trust, new bod and Mrs R involvement or not as was intimated by her  last week. I smell a big rat somewhere

But surely you have to take the word of the Chairman before choccy, gpao?       

He did after all say quite categorically, " despite rumours to the contrary WE ARE IN ADMINISTRATION" and that was after he had met the RFL.
