Chat Room??

Noticed after Sundays game there were a lot of people online reading and posting on the forum. Was wondering if there was any chance of a Chat Room been attached to the forum were we can chastise or praise the days performance. A bit of debate would be good i think.

Yeah it certainly is a good idea and one that can be implemented. We did try something about 12-18 months ago along the same lines, wasn't really up to scratch though. Now this forum is unofficial though, we can certainly use a chat room where people could freely express their views on the game.

I'll get something sorted :)

good idea but you should put an age 18+ like most chat rooms then nothing falls back on the host, thats been said in the chat room.

Dont agree with the 18+, a lot ok kids are memebers on here, and im sure would like there say. After all we are a FAMILY ORIENTATED sport.

Most chat rooms are 18+ now by law !! most chat rooms got shut down the only way you could do it is 1 for adults and 1 for kids.
id look into it flan mate.

thereis a lot of legal issues to sort out for a chatroom,
dont forget thats how those filthy fiddlers get into their victims,
 i wonder, is it worth the effort/hassle?
we've managed so far without one,
i wouldnt want anything to happen to a kid having used a haven chat room

Woah hold on a second folks. I intepreted HavenWarriors idea of the chat room something along the lines of:

1) We play a match
2) The chat room is opened by an admin/moderator of the forum either during the match or after
3) We'll all either vent our frustration or talk about the fantastic win
4) Discussion gradually dies down and the chat room session is closed

Moderators and Admins would be present in the forum at all times and it would be linked directly to the forum. What this means is that there will be no guests in the chat, only registered members of the forum whos username will be displayed.

What are your thoughts on that?

 During a match would be good for score updates. Tis' a good idea  :)

hey john ur the computer whiz, is it as easy as ur saying? hope so, if so i reckon it will be a good idea, like u say u got to be registered as a member so that will help control it i guess!
