at the moment it is david seeds i think he is awesome but i have heard so much bout dick huddart and from what i have red bout him and been told he was awesome and i think matty will become a homegrown talent in many years to come.

id say rob purdham is one of the best homegrown players ive ever seen at the club

wot about Arnie walker? come to think of it there has been a lot of very talented local players. i.e. jimmy Dalton David light foot jon routledge Milton Huddart to name a few older players and there is definitely a lot of excellent young ones coming through now like calvert macavoy matty etc

Cottier was good at the end of his career ,Jimmy Dalton and Norman are another 2 that spring to mind
If it's a girl they're naming her Sigourney after an actress, if it's a boy the 're naming him Rodney after Dave

again depending on what you are looking for in your talent,
i reckon for attacking flair you would be hard struck to look past david seeds, or vincent gribbin in his heyday,

as a defensive talent there can't be many better local lads than gary hetherington
