Another  good win away by our Under 23s

Playing down the Cougar Park slope we took an early lead through a Danny Barker try following  a Tyrone dalton break  converted by Scott George  .Jay Rossi then scored twice , one a 80 yarder after collecting a loose ball , again both converted .18 nil

We maintained our grip on the game with a Reece Fox Try under the posts  converted again   24 Nil to Haven. Then the Cougars hit back with a couple of trys   while Shane Ackerley went over for the Haven to see us 28-12 ahead at the half . Well in control but with 40 minutes to play up hill , still not a match winning position .

The home side used the slope to their advantage to score a converted try to make the score 28 -18 . Then on 58 Minutes a melee in the middle of the park resulted in Havens Danny Barker being dismissed from the field of play , The home side seemed to have Haven for the taking , but this only served to motivate the remaining 12 Haven player who asserted themselves  ,and when Dan Rayson chipped through and scored on the  67th Minute , converted by Scott George , we led 34 -18 and looked as though we might just have done enough to win it . 7 minutes later Jay Rossi completed his hatrick  to further extend  our advantage    before the Cougars scored just before the end to see Haven home  38-26 .

A good win with a team that contained a number of trialists  and had to play the last 20 minutes a man short

Difficult to see too clearly but what did Barker actually do?

Rossi's 1st try looked like he knocked on then picked it back up?
