Right dunno if im 100% right or not (it was back in the nineties) but im sure it was that money town received that brought them their good days ie play off finals and super league so basically without a cash input everybodys knackered in rugby league

Spacecake, William Lows was built a long time before the 90's as I remember and the AMEC mmoney was in 2000.

As i said wasn.t 100% sure but thought you got a big wedge of money when you where a good team but if you got a lump sum in 2000 how come you couldn,t make a team with it

merely dipped one toe in it and why did they bother??having suffered for it ever since.

they got to the top flight season before SL started and there was none of this winning play offs to get there or meeting the criteria plus they where promoted as runners up which means us and barrow would have been promoted under the old rules
