rudd goes about his job quietly he sets up tries and has a good kick on him and he is our best goal kicker im only saying that because ive never seen fletcher kick but rudd is a good player.

i think when we play widnes moran wil take him to pieces
and i think when we play cas weather it be mcgoldrick lupton or dwayne barker they wil take him to pieces
i think when tim hartley regains fitness he will take rudd to pieces

i would'nt knock rudd yet.. but he certainly is not awsome,,,we havent played anybody yet,,,,yes we beat a full time team yesterday,,,,,but if holroyd was playing ,,,he would have kicked us all over the park like  he did last season........in my opinion if a classy stand off is available?????get him,,,,we will then be very serious contenders for the championship

why dont we get holroyd then?

I don't know what Rudd has to do to convince some people. We got 4 tries on Sunday, he put through a delicate kick for the first, put Fletcher through a gap he made for his second and was also involved in the last try. Why are we so intent on knocking our own players, try seeing the positives for a change, its easy to find fault, if you want to find fault with players toddle up to Derwent Park this Sunday and watch that lot, then you may get a sense of perspective as to what we've got here.

not according to a widnes player who i talked to after both games i asked why moran was playing stand off the widnes players response was he wasnt moran had 6 on but was playing a scrum halfs role while watson had 7 on but was playing the stand offs role
