At a time when the club needs every penny it can get the answer is not to slash prices. Whitehaven are still one of the cheapest teams to watch in any division and so offer excellent value for money. Yes our facilities arent great but then thats reflected in the admission fee. I would quite gladly pay ?13 + to allow the club to raise the extra funds which are so desperate for.

The same people who claim they want SL Rugby League in Whitehaven are the same people whinging about the cost of entry for a game. Unless Whitehaven charge the going rate they have absolutely no chance of having the funds to redevelop the ground and sign players of the ability needed to make our SL dreams come to fruition.

in all honesty some fans need to forget about workington town and concentrate on whitehaven

who cares what is going to happen to town?
we have a small matter of halifax to get past ourselves, after games at barrow and at home to town!!

what always gets me with the draw is how come they only ever seem to draw 1 or max 2 all SL ties at this round almost every year it happens!!
the reverand, big mac

Just cause you don't understand what's going on don't mean it don't make no sense
And just cause you don't like it, don't mean it ain't no good

For  me  its  an  excellent  draw  and  a  great chance  to  progress  through to  the  last  16.  Main  thing  is  were  at  home  and  I  wouldn't  think  Fax  should  pose  much  of  a  problem.  Lets  hope  the  BOD  promote  this  game  and  get  as  many through  the  gates.  Even  if  they  won't  reduce  admission  then  let  kids  U16  in  for  nowt.

As  for  the  rest  of  the  draw  only  1  all  SL  tie  although  Wigan  face  a  tricky  tie  at  Widnes.  You  have  to  say though  11  SL  clubs  should  make  through  to  the  next  stage  along  with  5  NL  teams.

we know we will be beaten by leeds easily and you can enjoy that but i'd bet you would take leeds away when you beat halifax
its all about money to us cumbrian clubs the cc.  and town have got a money spinner and irrespective of the result  its about hard cash. i'ev only come on because of the town are going to get stuffed messages. i bet theres loads of haven fans would have loved the rhinos away. but you never know in the next round.

Cant see them doing that because cup money is split 50/50.

On the draw who cares about how many points Leeds put on town! its a fantastic chance for us to go on a good cup run and i am looking forward it,we have an excellent chance of making the quarters this year helped by the fact a few nl clubs were drawn against each other bring it on saints at home ha ha!

town4me the further you go in the cup the more money you get so nl opposistion in this round  will do us fine! leeds away wouldnt be bad game yeah!
