reading this guys piece in the whitehaven news today made me laugh

he says john duffy is possibley the heaviest scrum half to wear a haven shirt
nice thing to say to a lad who travels up here 2-3 times a week and is one of the clubs best players i hope john doesnt read that article and take it to heart think before you speak alan

he also goes onto say seeds must come back in the centres may i ask why mr irving? seeds wont be here next year lets get used to not having him in the team and keep mcavoy and rob jackson in the centres for the rest of the season

and in the interview with jimmy clements he says paul o'neils length of the field try against leigh
it wasnt against leigh mr irving it was rochdale at the recre in 2003

His weekly 'On The Ball' column is at times the worst attempt at Journalism i have ever had the misfortune to peruse during my time as a Whitehaven News reader. He reports on absolutely nothing and pads out his article with inane quotes from Whitehaven's coach Dave Rotherham.

How about something new on the back pages of the Whitehaven News, how about a column from someone actually involved with the club such as Seeds or Aaron Lester? Anythings better than the drivel currently on offer.

It shouldn't be difficult to get Man City and United mixed up. Manchester City come from Manchester whereas The Red's come from the Metropolitan borough of Trafford, with its local council services based  in Cornwall and Norfolk.

City Till I Die !!!!

As for Mr Irving I too read his column most weeks, where most weeks, he spends more time telling us whch wine he and Dave Rotherham have drunk last weekend, very informative, Not!
