It's warming up for the play offs ....and it made me wonder what games were left and the possible outcome....
My predictions...
1. Swinton - P - 46 pts Last game home to Rochdale - win -   49 pts
2. Town            40 pts Last game home to Oldham  - win -    43 pts
3. Keighley        37 pts Last Games London Sk away - win -  (40 pts)
40 pts Last Game Whitehaven home - win -   43 pts
4. Doncaster     37 pts Last Game Gateshead away - win  -   40 pts
5. Rochdale       37 pts Last Game Swinton away - lose  -     37 pts
6. Whitehaven   35 pts Last Game Keighley away - lose - BP - 36 pts
7. Oldham         33 pts Last Game Town  away - lose - BP -  34 pts

A win against Keighley gives a possible home game against Rochdale.
I see it as Rochdale away....Doncaster away....Keighley away...
Town in the final.
It looks a hard task, but wouldn't it be a dream to finish the season?
With the -9 we could have racked up 45 pts to finish 2nd.
Well done against Swinton yesterday...Brrrill

What do you think :o

Providing Keighley don't win by too many points at Skolars it could go down to points difference for 2nd place.   At present Keighley are +225 and Town are +220 !!!!

If Rochdale should beat Swinton on Friday, (yes Friday....RFL couldn't organise a urinating session in a brewery), then havens match against Keighley is pretty much a dead rubber for us, and thus unfair on town who would want us to have something to play for and so make Keighley work for second place in the league.

All season end matches should have been organised for same day and same time ....RFL can't even organise a proper fixture listing.

I was under the impression that all meaningful fixtures had to be played at the same time?

Dewsbury play Leigh on Thursday evening which will mean that Hunslet and York know what they have to do to avoid relegation and Fev will know if they are top or not before they play.

Well i suppose if nothing else tomorrow will tell us if we have any chance in the play offs.

We will have to win in all probability 3 away games  to make the grand final so if that is realistic we should see some signs of our ability tomorrow against a keighley team desperate to win.

For me while i hope we do it i think the games at Swinton and Donny suggest we dont have the ammo away from home to do 3 away wins on the trot.

Irony is if we do perform we will also be in all liklihood sending Town in to the G/F.

If we do town a favour tomorrow then fair play to them its summit weve gotta live with but win tomorrow and we finish with same pts as swinton without the -9 we,ll have won more games than anybody else and lost less than anybody else not bad for a team who are supposed to have had a **** season. Only bad thing is this season is we haven,t had the cutting edge swinton keighley and town seem to have had which shows in our pts difference
