A question about pronunciation

In the States most individuals I know pronounce Celtic with the hard k sound..like Keltic.

But it just hit us that many times here it is pronounced with the s sound as it Seltic.

Can anyone here enlighten me as to which one is appropriate?

Indeed Mrs razz, on the side of the Atlantic we would usually pronounce it with the "S"

Well, I think perhaps I should trust this side of the Atlantic on the issue. :)

Funny that I only noticed it after being here for three years. Definitely a tad late on the uptake.

Funnily enough, it is common practice to refer to Kelts but for some reason being of the Celts is Seltic

but is it a ( seltic cross or a keltic cross) i think you will find it is pronounced keltic, but another into the wash" boston seltics" basket ball team

It's always Keltic except in sports teams..Glasgow Seltic, Cleator Moor Seltic, Boston thingy majigs seltic.
