No  Sicey  or  Duffy  today  but  in  a  derby  game  it  makes  you  wonder  if  both  players  were  itching  to play  especially  Sice  against  his  old  club.

Maybe  the  plan  was  to  rest  both  with  a  much  bigger  game  next  week.

Whatever  his  reasoning  is  leaving  out  2  of  our  best  players  a  wise  choice

That was a game albeit a "derby game" where we have already qualified for the quarter finals of the competition.  DR like most other coaches in NL 1 & 2 is trying various players in various positions.  Bamber was given a start today for a couple of reasons not least his good showing last week.  DR has rewarded him with a first team place, maybe, just maybe DR wants to see if he can step up to the mark if there is an inury during the real competition (and didn't he do well!). The real work starts next week and IMO Sicey will be there, DR knows his best team, but also has to plan for the unexpected.

There's  at  least   half  a  dozn  threads  all  covering  the  same  point.  Infact  there's  3  threads  all  with  the  topic  HOOKER  in  the  team,  match  and  general  section.

DR'S  roation is a load of balls.. why isnt he resting people who travel up 2 haven.. e.g SMITH?? he is just resting the local lads ! ! ! The other week when lester was injured he missed a game because of it and a week later when he declared himself fit he was told he wasnt selected because of roation. Its a load of crap, wouldnt surprise me if people decided to leave to be honest  ! ! !

One of the main reasons he is not resting Aaron Smith is that he missed pre season with an injury, and is only regaining full fitness by playing. I assume the same fuss will be made when Seedsy is fit, do you think he will demand his place in the team, or has much fuss and hot air will be posted, i think not.
