But not to those fans who don't want the stadium and have been "railroaded" by the Council.

Why are you telling me not to support the team I have followed for 48 years just because I don't like the stadium, you are obviously an all inclusive sort of person. If the new stadium does go ahead of course I wont stop going to see them but how does me not going at your suggestion make the whole scenario correct - please explain in more detail? I don't really understand your logic?

They,ve left it too late for any world cup games if you ask me. Surely the main work won't begin until end of the season and the start of the new season is only 4 months. Could they put up a ground in that time ???

Still no point in getting too excited. A case of I'll beleive it when I see it. ???

Work will start on the actual site long before the end of the season.

Nothing concrete ( no pun intended )  but much of the prep work can be done as soon as the tender is awarded, need to see actual movement. I suspect judging by the language used by Barry, the RL and Border News report that it wont ge too long. But as always the proof is in the pudding

Get real!

The project won't be value for money, it'll be about value for CBC and what they can gain.

Going out to tender will take ages for the right company to be awarded the contract. Then there's the work needed. If you ask me this will take 2/3 years for full completion. We also have a council that simply havent a clue. There's no way will this be completed in time for the next world cup which will heap more embarassment on our dipsy council. :( :(
