Can anyone remember the name of the pub on strand street. Its now quality pizza

Was it called the bank? I remember people saying it was a Gay Pub as a kid.

I think it was bowt 10 year ago then converted back to a pizza shop

Correct! Wasn't open long. I think it was nearer 20 years ago than 10, you'd never get a new pub opening like that nowadays.

PS I think the, well I certainly won't use the above mentioned term , was just a vicious rumour put about by rival businesses - looks like it worked!
