What did people make of the olympic flame coming through the town area this afternoon.

Hey, I say area becuase even our Townie friends will be able to comment quite legitimately on this one!

I think it's been great for the kids and the younger age groups with all the entertainment along the route, etc.  For old codgers like myself, I saw the handover at Washington Street, Workington, this afternoon and it was over in a flash.   If it had been just one torch handed on from bearer to bearer it might have been different somehow but we are going to end up with, how many, Olympic torches!!!!!!!!

in hindsight "slaver" was probably not the best wording, however, where exactly did i say you had took offence to it?
