If true I think Lee Doran will now find himself between a new rock and a new hard place.
If the team now comes out and plays the way it did at Rochdale and home to Doncaster, then we can suspect they have been holding back somewhat in other games this season, when we all felt with the players we had we should be doing better. So the fans have been taken for a ride somewhat.
If however the team plays in the same dumb way it has for nearly every other game but the two stated above, then what's the point of shifting Don out at this stage of the season, as the Lancs combo can deliver no better.
As I say, Rock and Hard Place.
If also true, how can you offer a new contract one week then put on gardening leave the next, unless of course he has punched someone, which I seriously wouldn't blame Don for if he had.
