The whole atmosphere and vibe coming out of Whitehaven RLFC has resulted in a lot of people questioning the value of paying money to watch the team. There is no sence of a team developing with any potential or any local identity. It makes a big difference . If Kells , Brow, Egremenont , Hensiigham have got young lads who have joined Haven and are showing potential it gets a lot of supporters through the gare. Not sure a lot can be arsed if a load of Lancastrians are deciding when to play and train.
I know you need quality overseas or English based players but the team to have any local pull needs to be a strong locall identity.
