"unexperienced" does that mean he IS experienced.....assistant coach at Penrith and coached in France.   Accept Doran wouldn't like him ( if he is the coach) but at least he would've able to wack Doran about the head when he gets goby .... And point to his Aussie and state of origin jumpers..maybe be should ask Leeds what they think of him.? :)

Personally While I think he would be a decent choice I am not sure if Whitehaven is ready for him or he is ready for Whitehaven.  I would need to be convinced he knew exactly what he was letting himself in for.   

There will be Sunday afternoon teams in Aussie with greater comitment than he would get from our lot.  Doran et al wouldne kicking off within days about what was being asked for them.   Bod would crap themselves and it would all unravel.


If he was coming over 6 years ago ...probably just the job with strong committed characters in the team like Joey , Seeds , Leater, Fats and Leroy but this lot are a whole different. kettle of fish.

Got told at work this morn bobby goulding with lee doran as assistant. Training in Lancs twice monthly as a team. Not sure if a wind up or not but cant see locals happy if true.

What is farcical about interviewing outside the county no one knows apart from the BOD who put in for job all the names mentioned are just guessing games they might have been in the original 5. I think it's about time everyone got behind The BOD and Barry and trust them in what there doing.
