Our wingers got more passes today than they probably have all season. Although McAvoy is a great player and will get much better, he very rarely passes the ball to his winger ( must have been watching Seedsy! :) ).

2  or  3  times  macca  had  chance  to  pass  to  Calvert  early  on  but  didn't  whilst  on  the  other  wing  Eilbeck  fed  Maden  with  some  great  inside  passes

with all due respects I think if you take notice during the game the reason Scott McAvoy doesn't pass to Craig Calvert could well be to do with Craigs poor positional play, for what ever reason he struggles to take the correct option positionaly, i.e. come in side at the correct time, Scott would hardly pass to a player who is so close to touch that he will end up in it most times through defensive tackles, on one occassion he didn't pass to Craig due to this and had to take the tackle himself and even with his size and strength could not prevent being tackled into touch.
On the plus about Craig though his kick returns are getting much better so obviously he is training hard on that aspect.

Eilbeck was class. Derrie should learn Macca how to pass and when to pass.
