Vice Presidents Haven Horizon committee member Des Byrne hands over a new set of Fast Splints to Amy Kirkbride the club's Physio. Amy said " the old splints were getting well worn and we needed new ones and I am delighted Des and his committee have provided the funding for new ones" the cost runs into several hundreds of pounds and the club once again offers a big thank you to the Vice Presidents Haven Horizon organisation for proving the money.
"The Vice Presidents are delighted to be able to assist our Club Physio, Amy Kirkbride, in being able to obtain some much needed equipment namely some vacuum splints. As much as we hope they are rarely, if ever, used we recognise the importance of ensuring our Physio has access to the best possible equipment to assist in the treatment of players. We therefore had no hesitation in providing the funds to purchase these splints. The Vice Presidents raise money for the recruitment and development of players and players welfare is an issue that we regard as paramount. Anything that we can do to assist we will as was shown with the recent donation of £2000 to the shoulder operation costs for John Paul Brocklebank."
