THE News & Star has teamed up with Whitehaven RLFC and Workington Town to offer a fan from each club the opportunity to grace the Wembley Stadium turf while representing their club at this year's Challenge Cup Final.

All 81 clubs who have taken part in this season's competition will be represented, bearing the flag of their own club. And the selected winners will each receive two free tickets for the game on Saturday, August 23.

The competition, open to all over the age of 14, will require the winners to be present at Wembley for a 10am dress rehearsal on the morning of the game before taking part in a procession before the game.

And we are asking for your nominations of that special fan who deserves to be seen representing their club on the biggest day on the rugby league calendar.

Please send the name, address, contact number and email address where possible, of your nomination, with no more than 100 words explaining why they should be selected.

Send your nomination to sport.carlisle@cngroup.co.uk entering 'Wembley Flag' in the subject line.

The deadline for entries is noon on Friday.

Each winner will receive two tickets for the big game but  no accommodation or travel expenses will be provided or paid.

Normal CN competition rules apply.

What a great experience that will be especially if we can get a few more wins and stay up. I'm sure he'll do us proud to fly the pride in cumbria flag very well indeed.
